OEA’s electoral campaigns have always relied on the hard work of its member activists to mobilize their colleagues in the effort to elect pro-public education and pro-labor candidates to office. In 2018, OEA wants to make sure that its activists are armed with the best tools, skills, and strategies to do this work in the digital space. Toward that end, OEA is hosting a digital activist training on Monday, June 18, 2018, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Participants will learn more about:
• The ways in which you can be an effective digital organizer;
• The best practices and examples of how educators are organizing in the digital space;
• The digital engagement activities OEA is looking to do in 2018.
