OEA Training Institute — Become a Professional Learning Presenter!

OEA EPRMA LogoSeeking additional professional growth opportunities this summer? Consider applying to OEA’s new Training Institute, July 11-14, 2018, at OEA Headquarters in Columbus. Participants will learn and engage with meaningful cultural competency and equity literacy content as well as applicable adult learning theories to become a Professional Learning Presenter!

During this four-day Training Institute, participants will:

  • Develop foundational knowledge in social justice and equity literacy.
  • Apply concept of equity literacy to recognize institutional inequities within educational settings.
  • Consider how to implement tools and techniques, which redress bias and support student self-actualization.
  • Learn specific strategies that support strong adult learning.

Additional details are available in this Training Institute flier. You must be able to participate in all four days of the training to be considered. Upon confirmation, OEA will cover hotel costs for three nights, as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all training days. (Dinner will be on your own.)
