OEA Aspiring Educators and Ohio’s New Educators are hosting our annual joint Conference IN PERSON! The event will be held at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Lewis Center Ohio near Columbus beginning the evening of Friday, January 26 through Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Leadership is more than an event, moment, or position. It’s a journey. And the OEA Ohio New Educators and Aspiring Educators are with you every step of the way. Together we will help to develop activist leaders and prepare them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to lead relevant, thriving associations and to lead in their professions.
Sunday afternoon activities will be dedicated as an opportunity for Aspiring Educators. It takes hard work to build and sustain chapters. We will collaborate and learn about how AE supports, develops, and empowers diverse, pre-service educators with the resources, networks, and opportunities to lead in their schools, communities, and in all phases of their career.
There will be no cost to attend this exciting professional development and networking opportunity!! Hurry and register now. Space is limited! Registration closes January 15, 2024.
OEA Aspiring Educators chapters will be guaranteed eight (8) spots (4 double occupancy rooms) until January 15th – any remaining spots after that date will be awarded to additional aspiring educator applicants in the order in which they were received. A total 100 spaces are available for aspiring educators.
Ohio’s New Educators will have up to 100 spaces available to OEA members. Registrations will be approved in the order in which they are received.
Registration includes complimentary conference meals, snacks, and hotel accommodations for all conference participants. To secure hotel accommodations, you will be asked to place a credit card on file to hold your room. Individuals cancelling hotel accommodations less than one week in advance of the conference will be charged a one night’s lodging fee.
