Free quality mentoring for new teachers in the first 3 -5 years of their teaching career
Join us on Tuesday, December 10th at 4:30 pm on Zoom to learn more about this incredible opportunity and hear directly from some of our Virtual Instructional Coaches.
The Ohio Education Association has partnered with Educators Leading the Profession (ELP) to introduce an exciting new mentoring program specifically designed for OEA members in the crucial first three to five years of their teaching careers. ELP connects these early career educators with experienced Ohio teachers through the Virtual Instructional Coach (VIC) model. New educators will be matched with trained, paid mentors who will facilitate regular virtual mentoring sessions. This approach to mentoring provides early career teachers with crucial support from a reliable partner with whom they can openly discuss both the joys and challenges of their profession.
Are you an early career educator who has passed the Resident Educator Summative Assessment (RESA) and will be in the first 3 – 5 years of your career in 2024 – 2025? Are you interested in being assigned a Virtual Instruction Coach?
