Session Description

This interactive session will equip educators with the tools and insights to support Muslim students in thriving academically and socially while embracing their identity. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including a Ramadan simulation to deepen understanding of its significance and to provide practical ways to accommodate students during this holy month. Other activities will include role-playing scenarios to explore common challenges Muslim students face, strategies to foster inclusion, and creating personalized action plans to empower Muslim students in their educational journeys. Leave with actionable ideas to build a more inclusive and supportive environment for all learners. Two lucky attendees will win a $40 gift card to Crescent Moon Bookstore to attain Islamic themed children’s books to have as resources in your educational spaces!

In this engaging panel discussion, a group of passionate educators will explore the importance of incorporating diverse voices and stories into student experiences. They will discuss how literature from different cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences can broaden students’ understanding, foster empathy, and challenge preconceived notions.

This interactive professional development session explores how educators can use singing, comedy, art, dance, and other creative pursuits to build engagement, foster connections, and inspire joy in their educational spaces. Through dynamic panel discussions and breakout workshops, you’ll learn from educators and experts who have successfully integrated their passions into teaching, creating environments where students thrive.
Participants will leave with practical tools, fresh ideas, and renewed excitement for infusing magic into their own educational practices—making student learning environments a place where learning feels like an adventure. Join us to reimagine education and reignite the spark in your practices!
