A Summer Celebration of Diverse Readers
Join the Ohio Education Association, Lima Education Association, and OEA-R as we celebrate diversity.
The event will be free for all to attend, and every child will be gifted an age-appropriate diverse book while supplies last. The celebration will feature a Readers’ Corner and incorporate fun activities such as face-painting, a selfie station, snacks, and community resources.
When we read books that have characters of all races, genders, and backgrounds, students discover their own voices and learn from the voices of others. Let’s come together to kick off a great summer by celebrating diverse readers, so we can set all students up for success!
